February Activities and Ministry
Date: March 07, 2024 Posted by: Pastor Rickey Martin, Sr.TRIP TO YESU AKWAGALA BIBLE COLLEGE! An annual highlight for us is being at Yesu Akwagala Bible College in Buvvi Village. It is in a very remote, but strategically placed to be affordable for those coming from many nations surrounding Uganda. This year I taught Spiritual Gifts and Disciplines following up with Pneumatology II, which is about The Holy Spirit Himself. Sharing these subjects is fun and so rewarding for me as a teacher.
It was a magnificent time since several students were filled with the Holy Spirit during the classes. These twenty-seven students were quick learners; having lots of questions and making lots of comments. It made for an exciting time of expounding on the truths of scripture. BTW, I did develop both Malaria and Typhoid fever, yet God empowered me through prayer to complete my ministry assignment--PRAISE THE LORD!
RUTHs MINISTRY NOTES
There are still many needs to be met at the Bible College. For example: tuition fees, guild fees, computer lab updates, new and better desks and lighting . . . just to mention a few. Also improved general funding for the school is required since there are new students and costs are rising. Although their needs are greater than their current resources, they are not complainers. They simply keep their faith strong believing and asking God for the provision needed . . . and it comes in!
