Our Activities for April 2022 (brief)

It doesn't contain everything we've done, but demonstrates that your gifts are working and effectively changing lives! As I mentioned in our last newsletter in February, I (Rick) had an ever-increasing desire to help construct a physical church in Kanyogoga where Ruth and I visited several years ago. In December I was asking myself “how” could I do that? Then in January came a large donation. Praise God!
Paul and Florence Isabirye pastor there in Kanyogoga (photo above) and have faithfully been growing their church, ministering to older widows, plus providing food and clothing during the Covid-19 pandemic and overseeing the construction of this new church facility. No slackers here! Upon hearing of the impending gift, Paul said, “Currently the church structure we are using cannot be renovated. The roof is thatched but the poles holding up the roof are rotten. The village people laugh saying that the rain pours down through the roof.” Having begun constructing the new building, that unstable church they were in fell after a recent storm just two weeks ago! Now the new building is needed to be completed even more. |
God is able to complete the work He has begun to do over there!
